This purpose built children’s nursery has been designed after in-depth research into children’s architecture and in conjunction with the Care Commission.

Each space has been specifically designed to suit the particular age group, with a roof top garden allowing important interaction between groups. Varying heights of space, sizes of windows and use of materials, allow the children to interact with the building in a different way from the adult users.

The external spaces are linked closely with the building with large canopies allowing external play in all weathers, while acting as a brise-soleil to reduce over heating within the building.
